Hi Everyone Less than a week to go to our 2010 Annual exhibition!!! It will be held again this Saturday at the Weston Favell School; Booth Lane South; Northampton; NN3 3EZ.

We have managed to get 25 good quality layouts and 12 traders, also society and demos, and have kept the cost of admission the same as last year.

Member information on the Extraordinary General Meeting held on Wednesday 10th February 2010

We met at the Kingsthorpe Community Centre to discuss having another exhibition in 2010 and other matters relative to this.

It was very successful, and we wish to thank all the members who attended for their time and effort.

1. It was decided that the annual exhibition will be held again this year.

2. We are pleased to welcome a new committee member who will act as an advertising and press officer.

3. We have also agreed some dates for this year, and these are as follows.

Wednesday 30th June 2010

Club meeting to discuss any matters that need to be resolved concerning the exhibition.

Saturday 24th July 2010

NDMRC exhibition at the Weston Favell School on the 24th July 2010. from 10am till 4.30pm

Wednesday 4th August 2010

Annual General Meeting and post exhibition outcome discussion.

Thursday 9th December (provisional)

Christmas meal at the Malt Shovel Public House in Northampton.

Finally it was also discussed at the meeting that we might produce a regular newsletter.

However, as we could not find anyone who wanted to produce this.

So I assume that we will carry on using the noticeboard on the store cupboard door,

and the website for club information updates.

We are presently provisionally planning our next exhibition for Saturday the 24th July 2010. This is a new idea for a summer show rather than the usual winter ones of the past. If you are interested in attending the show as a trader, exhibitor, or just to see the show, please let us know and we will send you details when available.

We are especially in need of layouts local to the Northampton area that are built to exhibition standard.

We had our annual exhibition at Weston Favell School yesterday and it appears to have been successful from the feedback from those attending.

However the next one in July 2010 which we have begun to plan already will be an experiment to see whether Summer exhibitions are the way forward

On behalf of the committee I would like to thank everyone  for their input and say that without you this exhibition just would not have happened.

We will be holding a committe meeting to discuss the outcome of the show and a news letter will probably follow after that.
